The Gallery spaces are only available to members of the SL group ABC Friends. Priority will be given to Australian artists. The spaces are available to artists from all disciplines not just visual artists. We are looking for everything from small sculptural work, writing, paintings, abstract art, photography - whatever you do. Script and prim limits will apply and should be discussed with the curators before work can be accepted. Submissions of artwork to the ABC Art Spaces can only be made by the copyright owner. By submitting your work, you give the ABC permission to use and exhibit the work at the ABC's discretion. No work is to be for sale in the Galleries, but notecards can be provided with details of the works and the artist, and embedded links to other SL locations or web sites where the artist's work is available. Duration of exhibitions is usually 6-8 weeks but is at the discretion of the organising group. The curators will advertise shows with ABC Friends and other groups and organise an opening event. Artists are also free to organise their own marketing and events. From time to time events such as book or poetry readings, artists talks etc can be organised. At this stage artists cannot rez objects. All work will need to be placed by the curators and will be returned to the artist at the end of the show. Artists are expected to help organise the hanging of their work. All expressions of interest in using the galleries are to be made in the first instance to the curators below.
